Accessing the venue

The Australian Junior Chess Championships will be held in the newly constructed NJ Edwards Hub of The Hutchins School.

There is a bus stop right outside the venue, connecting to the CBD. For more frequent buses, you can head to bus stops either on Sandy Bay Rd or Churchill Ave. Public transport buses in Tasmania are currently free.

The venue is close to the CBD, which is a roughly 15 minute journey by bus. It is also a 400m walk from Hill St grocer, and a 1.4km walk from Sandy Bay shops, including Coles and Woolworths.

There is a small carpark next to the venue which can be used by participants. There is also on-street parking available on Nelson Rd and Peel St.
